Prmavera Sound festival - May 27 - May 29 This week in Barcelona, do not miss the Primavera Sound! This festival is a feast for all the music lovers. It is fast becoming one of Barcelona's most popular music festivals and offers one of the most innovative and forward-thinking line-ups in Europe. The festival takes place at the Forum, a large outdoor space with auditorium areas, which can be easily reached by public transport. This year's Primavera line-up offers the usual blend of musical legends and up and coming new talent: Pixies (!), Orbital, Lee Scratch Perry, The Fall as well as The XX, Yeasayer, Joker and Delorean. Café Vienés Jazz Club – Thursdays 9-11pm – Enjoy an evening of jazz in the swanky lounge of the Hotel Casa Fuster. The modernist surroundings and Catalan company make for a quintessential Barcelona experience. While the jazz is free, the drinks are quite pricey – you’ve been warned.
Barcelona Guitar Festival - February 21 to June 20- With its eclectic and cosmopolitan line-up, the newest edition of the Festival de Guitarra de Barcelona (Barcelona Guitar Festival) includes an important list of prime artists related with the world of the six strings.
